Aadhaar उपस्थिति पंजी

The Aadhaar registration process includes visiting the registration center, filling out the registration form, getting the captured demographic and biometric data, sending evidence of identity and address documents, before collecting the registration slip that contains ID. The highlight of Aadhaar registration is:

  • Aadhaar registration is free of charge.

  • You can go to the official Aadhaar registration center anywhere in India with proof of your identity and proof of the address document

  • The uidai process accepts various kinds of POI documents (proof of identity) and POA (proof of address). See a list of supporting documents. General proof of identity and address is the election photo ID card, ration card, passport, and SIM.

  • Photo ID cards such as PAN cards and Govt ID cards are permitted for evidence of identity. Document proof address also includes water - electricity - landline telephone bills for the past three months.

  • If you do not have general evidence above, the identity certificate that has a photo issued by an officer exchanged / Tehsildar on letterhead is also accepted as POI. The address certificate has a photo issued by MP or MLA / Karebotan / Tehsildar officer on letterhead or by the Head of Panchayat Village or equivalent authority (for rural areas) accepted as legitimate POA.

  • Even if someone in the family does not have a valid document, the population can still register if the name is in the family rights document. In this case, the family head in rights documents needs to be registered first with a valid POI & POA document. The family head can then introduce other members of the family when they register. Uidai received many types of documents as proof of relationship.

  • Where there are no documents available, residents can also take introductory assistance available at the registration center. The introduction is notified by registrants. For further details, please contact the registrar’s office in question.

To summarise, there are three approaches for enrolment:

  • Submission of one valid Proof of Identity (PoI) document and one valid Proof of Address(PoA) document.

Head Of Family (Hof)-based.

  • Head of the family (HoF) may introduce family members by means of documents, which establish the Proof of Relationship (POR).

  • In the absence of valid identity proof documents (POI) and valid proof documents (POA), introductory services can be utilized. The introduction is the person appointed by the Registrar and must have a valid aadhaar number.

  • At the registration center, please fill in your personal details in the registration form. Your photos, fingerprints, and iris scans will also be taken as part of registration. You can review the details you have provided and do a correction during the registration itself. You will get a recognition slip with the registration number and other details captured during registration. Each correction in the registration data can be made within 96 registration hours by visiting the registration center with a confessional slip.

  • You must register only once because some registration will produce rejection unless you are recommended by Uidai.

  • The waiting time for Aadhaar can vary from 60-90 days after receiving a population data package in CIDR
