In today's fast-paced world technology has become a requisite. From downloading apps on your phone to getting registered on various sites all you need to do is have an e-mail address.

It's probably a no-brainer that Gmail tops the list of the best free email accounts.  Although Google's free email service is pretty old yet reliable and still, it has a modern feel to it, is tightly integrated with the company's other services, and performs exceptionally well at blocking spam.

Every person who has a smartphone needs to have an email address but sharing personal information on such sites is not everyone's cup of tea, or there can be a dozen reasons for not wanting to share one's phone number. As hacks are trending these days I bought a useful hack for the "Privacy Lovers".

Set Your Age to 15:

This is another useful trick to skip phone verification. If your age is 15 years or less  Google will assume that you are young enough to not have a cell phone of your own. In this case, it becomes easy for you to create a Gmail account. You’ll just have to set up a different birth year. To do so, you need to follow the steps given below:

1.Open your browser.

2.Go to Gmail.

3.Click on the Create Account option at the bottom of the screen.

4.Choose For Myself or Business.

5.Enter your account information and a new email address and click Next.

6.Set your age to 15 years. For example, if it’s 2021, you should set your birth year to 2006 or 2005.

7.Leave the mobile phone bar blank and click Next.

8.Agree to terms and conditions.

Use a Dummy Number:

A dummy number is provided by various online sites where you can use the provided number to verify your accounts via mobile number. You can use one of the phone numbers from these websites instead of your phone number.

Then, Gmail will send a verifying code to the dummy number and you will be able to read it and provide the code in the required field.

Some of the websites that provide dummy numbers are:

receive SMS now

Adding your phone number gives you an advantage like changing a password if you forget it, however, if you don't want to use your phone number you can use the above-mentioned methods to create an email address. Google introduced phone number verification to keep robots and spammers away from creating accounts. If you’re using the word " Robot" in your username the above-listed procedures may not work.
